Ferne Smyth, Photographer & Artist
Has had a camera in her hand since she can remember. She loves drawing and potting and oil painting.
She really enjoys sharing her surroundings, particularly the old decrepit precinct buildings of Oamaru and the natural world around us. Her aim is capturing a moment in time, with special light, shadow and reflection.
Currently producing photographs and photographic art on aluminum and canvas, oil paintings and ceramic works.
Being a member of the Crafted cooperative has been a fabulous opportunity to share ideas and enjoy other artisans and share works with the public.
She will be exhibiting some work in the Forrester Gallery in September 2017
