Rod and Sue McLean own a c1900 Hattersley Domestic Weaving System, designed and manufactured in Yorkshire, England and now in their care.
Rod is a craftsman weaver, specialising in weaving traditionally inspired tartans and tweeds. Sue is a recognised textile artist who specialises in
stitching historically influenced garments and artworks. Together they are McLean & Co.
McLean & Co are committed to sustainable and ethical practice, the preservation of traditional textile skills, and the guardianship of their looms. Using only quality New Zealand grown and processed yarn, they create
beautiful limited edition hand woven textiles; heirlooms of the future to be.
