Contemporary Potter (DNA Ceramics)
I was introduced to clay over 45 years ago while at Dunedin Teachers College, but it was only when I moved to Oamaru a few years later that I got serious about potting, joined Ceramic 44 (now Pottery on Tyne) and established my own pottery studio at my home in Weston where I produced a variety of domestic ware which I sold nationally.
Potting took a back seat to teaching for a few years, but recently, since retiring I am enjoying exploring with white mid- fire clays and colourful glazes.
